Flat rate pricing per session or program, rather than based on headcount.

This came out of one of our Altru user chat sessions; it sounds like a lot of organizations that use flat rate pricing run into an issue where we charge X amount per class of students, with a class being up to a certain number (in our case, $120 for a class of up to 30 kids.) However, if we have, for example, three classes of 20 kids each, Altru will only charge them for up to 60 kids, or what we consider two classes.

It would be great if, instead of basing flat rate pricing off of group numbers alone, we could somehow have the option to charge per program event or session. That way we can account for the actual number of class workshops we're teaching, regardless of the size of those classes.

I realize that for now, a passable workaround might be to base the pricing off of a resource, like a docent or staff educator, rather than using the flat rate pricing. :)

Yes! Having the ability to attach a flat rate prices to a program (instead of to a group) would simplify group sales setup when a group is utlizing more than one schduled program. It would also allow for event revenue reporting AND attendance reports to be accurate. The current work around that Altru Consultants are recommend is attaching resources to a group sale that effectivly add-in the appropriate charges, but this solution does not report out correctly on event/program sales reports.
