Default Addressee and Salutation for female spouses?

The default Addressee and Salutation for female spouses is not defaulting right. It is defaulting the name "Mrs. and Mr. Female name." At this time, there isn't a way to default the name format of the spouse record to "Mr. and Mrs. Male name." Is there any way to correct this? This is causing problems. When we run lists or queries it is coming up with the wrong name. We have to go through and fix all of the female names. This is very time consuming...

    I am having the same problems with membership cards/letters. We process between 600-700 memberships a month and I have to adjust every single record. This is incredibly time consuming.
