Please start tracking membership and ticket discounts differently
Right now, all discounts are created equal. They are all ticket discounts. So in order to offer a membership promotion (discount), it has to map to the same location as the ticket discount.
That means, if I have a member promotion that is $10 off a family membership, and I sell 100 of those then that should be $1,000 of membership income I just do not receive. Instead what we get is member income reporting too high by $1K and Ticket revenue underreporting by $1K.
We need a easier way to map, apply, and report on discounts.
