ability to link an invitation to an event

I currently use the appeal section to send invitations to programs and events. It would be helpful to either have an invitation option through the event/program section, or have the appeal linked up to it.

the appeal form is helpful because I can send different invitations to different groups of people, as if it was an appeal with different levels. I do not need to track the revenue from the invitations though. I need to track the response rate/attendance rate.
