Our list is fairly substantial and naturally changes constantly, and currently staff have to enter the promo code exactly for it to work, so we have cheat sheets taped by each register.  It would be helpful if either they could select the discount and a selection of applicable codes pop up, or if they can just type the first letter of the code and all the codes with that letter would pop up for them to select.  Coming from a system where they could pick from a drop down box, this method is very cumbersome for staff.
