With the purchaser's name on the ticket, organizations could check ID's to make sure they match. Some organizations do not have advanced POS systems with barcode scanners, so having the names on the tickets could allow for faster check in against a will call list.

This would also help with organizing tickets after they have been printed as if the tickets end up in a pile after printing it is hard to figure out who ordered which ticket.
