In Raiser's Edge, you can add appeal costs by category (mailhouse, postage, printing) and then RE adds them all up and calculates your cost per piece. In Altru, we need to do that math ourselves to come up with the cost. Extra space for human error is always bad. Plus it's not as nice for analysis to see where you might be able to decrease costs. Would love to see greater detail in Appeal costs.
