Ability to add 2nd member as "Guest of..."

We allow members to have the 2nd person on the membership as Guest of Jane Doe.  However, since this cannot be entered back of office, it becomes a bigger process when batching as the export in excel doesn't have the 2nd person card to print unless added to the excel sheet and manually in the member record.  Perhaps there could be a check box in advanced/daily sales and online to simply check when entering member cards?
