Use email address verification to catch issues with the way an email address is entered into forms. For example, if a user enters johnsmith@gmail.cm the user would receive an error message or pop-up alerting them there's an issue with what they've entered. Comprehensive verification could check if an email is real or is a spam trap (such as with EmailHippo).
Yes, we do not understand why this is not standard. I lose multiple credit card chargebacks due to emails not being received. This cost us money aside from the ticket fees lost. The notification of bounced emails are not in real time and people to not always have another way to contact them for an issue. This has been a huge problem and it is increasing due to the push of buying tickets online.

If I could vote for this 1,000 times I would do it. PLEASE LISTEN TO US ALTRU DEVELOPERS!!!!

In addition to this, the bounce back notification may come hours after. We have had Guests purchase tickets at 4:30pm for a 7:oo pm show and receive a bounce notification at 9:00 pm. This causes many phone calls and emails since the Guest does not know f they purchased a ticket, can go to the performance. All they see is a charge and we do not know in real time.

This is pretty basic stuff and seems like an obvious update that needs to be made to Altru. We get a ton of bounced e-mails and visitors confusion because of mis-typed e-mail addresses.

Great idea! I can't tell you the number of bounced email notifications I get that then have to be followed up on - not a productive use of time.
