Altru implemented the two-factor authentication, which provides additional security for the database.  However, we cannot require staff to use their personal mobile devices to access systems needed to do their jobs. Instead, another option is to disable the 'remember me' feature, so that users have to enter their credentials every time they login to Altru. This is standard practice with online banking and other online accounts that manage personal, confidential information. With the abundance of today's cyber attack risks, this is a viable option for ensuring our donor data and their personal, confidential information is protected.
