The unfortunate part of mass-mailings is that you can tell they're mass-mailings.  In trying to go above and beyond with personalizing our communications, we would like to see a feature that allowed the first name field to be isolated when downloading output from membership and mailing processes.  We are able to separate name fields into first and last names after the fact, or through custom ad hoc queries, but this is a major bottleneck in the process.  While an ad hoc query will give us the cleanest (and quickest) results, we also lose out on the ability to track appeals with this method.
