It would be helpful if Daily sales would alert you if you are attempting to sell a piece with no inventory in the system. I would in an art gallery where their is typically only one of each item. On busy opening nights we have a scan sheet ready at the desk to scan the item that sell. If there are two staff working with two different customers there is a chance that they could double sell am item because Altru has no warning system that you have no inventory in stock for a certain item. 

An extra plus would be if there was an option to turn this alter on or off at the item level. For instance we sell clay by the pound as well. Be do not inventory this because it is too time consuming to keep up with so we have left the inventory count at 0. so in this case an alert would be annoying.
