We prefer to give discounts to only a certain membership levels but not all of them in the same membership program. It seems the only way to do a promotion is to give them all the same discount.
Wanted to give 100 memberships for $100 in honor of our 100th birthday. Not only can we not limit the amount of times a discount is used, we can't discount just one level of membership, so all of the other levels could get the discount as well.
We just had a big online sale via promo codes for some of our mid-range membership levels, but since we can't restrict membership discounts, almost half of the codes used were on our cheapest membership instead of the ones that were actually being promoted. This is such a frustrating problem that shouldn't exist.
