When scheduling children's birthday parties we don't ask the gender of the child or if the person scheduling the party is related to the child. When I'm adding the adult into the system I have to add the adult either as a mother or father.

As an organization, we value inclusion and we would appreciate some relationship options that are not gender-specific and some less specific guardian roles. This would better accommodate our foster families, LGBTQ community members, etc. A parent/guardian and child relationship would be great. Also, a general "relative," "friend," "responsible party," or "responsible adult" option would be wonderful so that I don't have to ask or assume family ties at all.
