The idea is to use membership cards as "tickets" for special events. It could work with an event window like the one that exists for ticket scanning. This would be a faster way to track attendance to a special event; certainly a step up from the mobile check-in.
Leaving it to Blackbaud to work out the mechanics, but there would be some business rules you'd have to consider. How would you map a member to a price type? What would the entitlements be for a given member based on the program? I agree that having that as an option would be useful, but the program setup would be different. We'd need a way to map membership programs and levels to tickets the same way we can with discounts. I don't see this working in Daily Sales.
