Single-use and other customizable discount codes are standard in event ticketing and offer the host organization the ability to build custom packages and discounts for community partners, sell blocks of tickets to local businesses without making them choose a date up front, and just generally offer flexibility and control that is not offered by an unlimited use coupon code.
