Solution to streamlining interaction and communication records in the Altru database on constituent profiles. If a staff member has an email, or multiple emails to constituents, this feature would send the email while opening a new Altru interactions tab with fields auto-populated and email body in description for quick review and save.
Example: Your CEO received an email from a major donor saying they will give the organization $5m over 5 years. As CEO goes to reply and thank them, they click "Send and Upload" which then adds an interaction linking both constituents to the conversation and creates a public record in Altru.
The Andar database used by most United Way organizations has a "Send and Upload" feature linked from outlook to their database which was incredibly useful in tracking donor interactions.
