Having a volunteer calendar that can be exported and shared will be beneficial for both organizations and volunteers. When a volunteer is added to the schedule, they can appear on a calendar which can be shared with the volunteer. This would be much easier and quicker than creating a calendar outside of Altru and manually updating it each time a volunteer is added to the schedule.
We currently have a Google calendar for docents to know when they're assigned to tours. We don't use Altru's Volunteer tab at the moment because it would be double work for us to do docents' assignments through it if we still have to copy and paste onto a separate calendar anyway. We would love to add that to our process of booking, but without a shareable or/and export function to externals in calendar view, it doesn't currently suits our needs.
