When using the "Order Search" function on the sales page, a user should be able to filter by cash or credit, filter by the name on the credit card used, and put a time range. Essentially we need a lot more filtering options.
Right now filtering just by date or sales-type means sifting through hundreds of transactions that are of the same amount - there is no indication of how the transaction was made or who purchased the order. This is especially difficult if a person does not remember which person sold them admission - so filtering by user doesn't narrow things down.
I am aware that we can build a query to find transactions, but front-of-house / front-line staff are not trained to use the Information Library. And when a line is out-the-door, building a query, or adjusting one that is built is a time-consuming process. The Order Search feature should just be more robust.
