We value your unique insight into our products and services and often receive ideas and feedback from our community in a variety of ways. To streamline this process, we’ve created an idea bank where you can post product suggestions, vote for those most important to you, and add comments to existing ideas.
We have one header for our web forms (found in the Web Forms Page Designer) here we have added our standard boilerplate language about registering for the site, getting member discounts, making sure to add a minimum quantity to register for a class, etc. We have a lot of classes, and have found we needed to do this to answer questions and cut down on support emails. (It's also easy to forget to add this language to every class' individual web forms; this makes us sure the language is always there.)
However, very often this language isn't relevant to what the constituant is trying to do on our site, e.g. make a donation. It would be great to be able to have different web forms headers depending on what the constituant is trying to do on our site.
In general, while they function decently, Web Forms end up being very limiting in terms of customization. Sure, you can change the language and design to a certain extent, but compared to most modern e-commerce sites there's a lot more that could happen. I really hope Blackbaud is working on updating how they work.
