We are trying to be more inclusive. The previous thread has be commented on since 2016 and there still isn't a change. Please allow us to add genders or please hard code the genders into the system.

It is now 2024. The fact that Altru, a non-profit oriented product, only allows binary genders AND assumes the gender based on name, is simply unacceptable. Further from our team: The entrance of gender automatically is unnecessary to our information. The assumption of gender based on a name is far outdated and can easily be entered manually by parties that want that particular information. Please turn off the automatic “feature” and add more options for varying gender identities.
