Calendar Customizations

I would like to be able to customize the calendar to work better for our Development Department. I would like to be able to track grant timelines. I would like to add features within the filters to make it useful for segments and multiple areas within my organization. Daily programs have a different filter than Timed programs. Holidays, Special Events, Exhibit opening dates. . .
