Altru Ideas

Include a full search bar in the header instead of just the magnifying glass

The newest update has a magnifying glass that has to be clicked before searching for constituents. Constituent search is my department's (Institutional Advancement) most common action in Altru. Clicking the magnifying glass is an unnecessary extra step that will have to be performed dozens of times daily.

Furthermore, without a search bar visible at all times, there is no way to check for typos, etc. in the last search you performed.

Those of us with older eyes are really struggling to find the magnifying glass and see what we type in case of misspellings. Please undo this update.

Please listen to those who are actually using the product on a daily basis. Your search bar change has made the product - that WE pay for - harder to use, not easier.

Terrible update. Please put the old search bar back. Functionality is now terrible and adding constituents is also difficult.

YES! this went away with the update and it is NOT an improvement. It is an inconvenient function.

Yes!! It also sometimes disappears when you're typing. Put it back to where it was.
