Special Event Add-ons without depleting capacity

We host a special event in which guests have options to make addtional purchases to their main ticket. However, if we add it as a "registration type" it takes away from our capacity, which we do not want because it is the same registrant. If we increase the capacity, we increase the risk of having too many registrants for the event.
