We run a festival that usually has one or two rain cancellations. We issue vouchers for those people that have purchased tickets to be able to redeem for another show and many of our constituents prefer to redeem those vouchers (using a discount code) online before we open our box office each year. However, we always have a processing fee for this festival. Because fees cannot be discounted or removed in any way through online sales, we are unable to maintain the fee structure we've always had while providing the convenience of online sales for people that have had an event cancelled. There really needs to be a way to omit or discount fees in special circumstances like this without requiring the constituent to call someone in our office that has access to advanced sales.
