Our organization has pushed the majority of ticket sales online following the pandemic. For some of our programs, we have a ticket price with add-ons like lunches, supplies, and ticket processing fees that need to be itemized rather than included in a single ticket price when people purchase online. There are multiple reasons that we do this, but the primary reason is to be able to provide a variety of discounts and the current fee structure does not allow discounts. One imperfect solution would be to allow for different programs to have different default delivery methods so that fees could be set up related to delivery methods rather than entire programs. Another option would be to allow resources to show up as charges when selecting tickets online.
There appears to be no interest in changing the fee structures to allow for discounts, so some other option needs to be available for online-only sales. Calling in to use Advanced Sales or Daily Sales (where fees can be manually removed) is not an option for us.
