We just bought 3 WISEPOS E terminals from Altru that are great, but we have lost the ability to manually input card information, which is a pain when taking phone orders. Thanks for creating this idea and linking that KB! If you use Advance Sales exclusively for card not present transactions, we can adjust the workstation's settings to allow for manual entry from the workstation's keyboard/touchscreen without the need for a spare device.
Steps:
Click Tickets > Workstations > Click on the name of the workstation
Click on the Payment Terminal - EMV tab > Click edit
Uncheck Advance Sales > Click Save
You should be prompted with the Blackbaud Checkout Screen that should allow manual entry.
