Increase Character Limit on Donation Form Comment Box

We repeatedly get comments from donors trying to make online Tribute Gifts that the comment box on the Tribute Giving donation form does not provide enough room to leave the required information and a custom note. As Blackbaud Altru doesn't provide further customization for the giving page itself, the only apparent solution is to increase the character count in the comment box. I see that is caps at 220-222 characters when filling out all requisite information. I would suggest moving that character limit to at least 500 characters.
