We've had a significant uptick in issues with online purchasing since the increased character length for passwords rolled out. We're unable to help our guests, members, board, and staff with their online purchasing when they are struggling with their password which can lead to frustrating customer service interactions.
If we could have access to reset for admins, that would be really helpful. It'd also be really helpful to have a "show password" option while people are typing it (like the little eyeball on many sites that can change your password from dots or asterisks to the actual characters you're typing so you can see where your typo is).
Absolutely this. Our patrons are not always the most tech-savvy to begin with, and anything we can do to help them would be huge.
Adding onto this, have an admin option to force reset for ALL accounts would be really useful in case of a data breach.
