When I add a DAF gift, I assign credit to both household members. If I look at each spouse's recognition summary, it will be accurate. But when I look at the household summary, it duplicates the gift. For example, $500 from The Smiths DAF, with credit to Joe Smith and Jane Smith, will show as $1000 under the Smith Household's recognition summary. The only way around this is to only credit one spouse, which gives an incomplete view of the other spouse's giving history.
