We need to be able to limit tickets by event, ticket type, and constituent. We should not have to pull reports and manually follow up with folks who have more than their allocation of member tickets – it’s a very negative experience for both members and staff.
Every year, our annual event requires hours of staff time to pull dozens of names from ticket reports who have reserved more tickets than are available to them based on membership level - an individual level member who is entitled to one member price ticket can simply do another transaction for every ticket they'd like at that price point. The only way we can remedy this is manually contacting these donors and canceling the extra tickets, which is time-consuming, impacts revenue, and is an incredibly negative experience for both donors and staff.
There are similar ideas suggested, but none broad enough to capture the true need - tickets are only limited per transaction, which means they aren't really limited at all.
