We offer a $5 senior discount on any of our memberships. In Altru, the tax-deductible amount for each membership category is static, regardless of the amount paid. So, whether they paid $50 or $45, their tax-deductible amount is the same, which is incorrect. It would be correct for Altru to calculate by subtracting the value of benefits form the amount paid. We have to manually correct this on the acknowledgment letters, which is error prone.
