One of the most common complaints our staff have about Altru is how time-consuming it is to complete even simple tasks. While it is a powerful system, the workflows just aren’t there to support efficiency. For example, the system cannot automatically send pledge reminders via email when due dates lapse. We also cannot add Altru fields directly to event or program registration forms, meaning all registration details must be entered manually into constituent records. Even sending a membership renewal notice requires running the process manually. OUr staff has important work to do and this really slows us down.

In 2025, many other CRM platforms support these types of workflows seamlessly. Why is Altru unable to provide similar functionality?
