Change Application of an Online Order

I would like to be able to change the application of an online sales order. Sometimes patrons think they're doing you a favor by paying a event ticket fee or making a pledge payment using a general online donation form. Once these payments come in, I am unable to properly attribute that online donation to the outstanding event or pledge balance. This causes issues with in event/program sales and donor reports.
