Limit "Per Item" Discounts to a Single Item Across an Entire Transaction

We are unable to run single-use promotional campaigns without discounting more tickets than intended when the item is part of a program.

Currently, if a customer has multiple events from the same program in their cart, a single-use promo code applies to every event from that program instead of restricting the discount to just one ticket total.

I suggest an option to restrict a program-specific discount to an absolute maximum count (e.g., exactly 1 item) per transaction, regardless of how many eligible events or tickets are in the cart. This would allow organizations to run single-item promotional discounts for specific programs without discounting entire carts.
