Over-riding automatic discounts

Hi there.

Recently, I ran into a bit of trouble because our biggest donor, a life-long member of our Institute, wanted to sign up for two classes and give $2,500 at the same time. However, at their member level, the automatic discounts we have set up to give them everything for free make it so they are charged for the class, while they implicitly said "Charge my card for these two classes." 

There should be a way to override the automatic discounts, without having to turn off the discount temporarily.

    Very necessary! We have this need for the scenario listed above but also for times when we sell items on layaway. Layaway is not eligible for discounts.
