There are 2 reports that would be very helpful for membership (dues and cont based).


1. A report that breaks out the Revenue per level of a membership program, for a specific time period (for example "the last 3 months" or "this FY to date"). It would look something like this:


XYZ Membership Program

Date Range = ______

Individual Level = $___(Sum amount)

Family = $___(Sum amount)

Reciprocal = $___(Sum amount)


*we put in the program and date range and the report pulls the $amounts*


2. a report that breaks down the count of memberships per level, by a specific time period. The membership tab will give you this breakdown for the present time period, but not for a time period. The membership count report isnt helpful when you are doing a FY that runs between 2 calendar years. It would look something like this:


XYZ Membership Program

Date Range = ______

Individual Level = ____(count aka grand total per this level)

Family =____(count aka grand total per this level)

Reciprocal = ____(count aka grand total per this level)

I was able to figure out how to query on this, with the help of Lauren (who is awesome!). We were able to make queries for the $amounts, but it is tedious as I have to make a query for each level. And we made a query for the counts, but it doesn't sum it up correctly, so I run the query with the detail (each primary member), then have to export it to excel to sum the levels manually. It isn't horrible to do the queries, but these should be things that you get from a report, as they are basic questions regarding membership.
