Ability to allow online pledge payments.

It would be great if there was a way to allow people to pay for their pledges online. I realize this may be tricky since pledges have installments and balances, etc., but I figured it wouldn't hurt to put the idea out there. Thanks!

Refunding the payment and then re-adding as a payment is not a good solution, it causes problems for development since the see both and think there are two gifts. It is hard to exclude the refunded payment when in certain areas of Altru.

Yes, please come up with a way to edit the online payment and apply it to the pledge installment.

Wholeheartedly agree with the detail that Maya explained. Having to refund is an issue, especially since it sometimes double counts the order and subsequent pledge payment when you run reports.

Even if they couldn't do this specifically through the online interface, it would be very helpful if you could apply an online payment to a pledge in the back office, so that you could apply the money to the correct place without having to do a refund to "other payment method", then book correctly using "other payment method".

Every now and then someone just pays the money for their pledge online and what we're really like to be able to do is just be able to edit that payment so that it becomes their pledge payment instead of just a donation.
