Location Location Location - How to make inactive, choose rooms, rooms for group reservations ...

Now that we are merging with another institution, we will have multiple campuses in our organization. Because we are also consolidating two Altru databases, the Location function is more important than ever for us. There are a lot of questions or ideas about Locations throughout the Community, but I thought I would try to summarize and add a few of my own thoughts to the mix.

1) We need to be able to mark Locations "Inactive". Sure, I can mark an entry "DO NOT USE", but that's tacky. Having to manually reorganize 4 years of this data is TONS of fun!
2) There is this awesome functionality for Locations > Rooms, but you can only choose a Room when setting up Events. I would like to be able to choose Rooms for Group Reservations and Programs.
3) Additionally, not only would it be great to be able to choose Rooms in these other areas, I would like to be able to choose multiple rooms or locations without creating multiple itineraries, or a multi-level event.
