We value your unique insight into our products and services and often receive ideas and feedback from our community in a variety of ways. To streamline this process, we’ve created an idea bank where you can post product suggestions, vote for those most important to you, and add comments to existing ideas.
One of our policies here in the museum when entering
programs in Altru is to mark the option ‰ÛÏRequire Registration‰Û unless an
approval has been obtained that attendees names are not necessary and only the
count matters (which rarely happens).
One of the issues we are encountering with this is when we
do online sales. A constituent would purchase her ticket today and then the
next day, she decides to purchase tickets for some of her coworkers. She does
not know who of her coworkers are coming but just wanted to make sure that the
tickets are available for them. She goes back to our website and attempts to
purchase tickets, after entering her information, she gets an error message
that she cannot continue with the purchase. One of the reasons we think she‰Ûªs
getting this error message is because she has already registered her name
yesterday and thus, Altru will not let her register again. It would be easy to
say to just enter somebody else‰Ûªs name but in this case, she does not know who
of her coworkers will be redeeming those tickets so she would rather enter her
name to indicate that she bought those tickets.
Would it be possible to have an option under Programs in
Altru, when Registration Required is marked, to allow >1 registration per
person, even if it is only for online sale?
