Any update on this? After 10 years of planning?
How does this item get moved up on the priority list. The need for program waitlists is something that has been "coming" for years! Once again, we are opening Camp registrations without an easy way for our constituents to add their children to a waitlist once our camps sell out - and they sell out quickly!!
This would be such a great add!

We need to use waitlists. This is very important for our customer service!
Waitlists are extremely important for our camp registrations. Please add this.
We run a camp program at our site, and usually have a wait list for every section. This is our first year with Altru, and we are very worried for the public response if they can't get on a waitlist, and our ability to add campers into sessions when inevitably someone else drops out.
Please, please consider a waitlist option. We desperately need that feature.
Our development department selected this service for our organization, but our program and early education teams have just discovered that there is no waitlist feature available. Having a waitlist is essential for our summer camp registration, as spots tend to sell out within five minutes, and parents are eager to secure places for their children. The waitlist is a crucial part of this process. Without this option, our customer service may suffer, which could negatively impact our overall numbers and business. Additionally, it will affect registration for our preschools. If a waitlist feature cannot be provided, I will recommend that we switch services.
PLEASE BUILD THIS! We did not think to ask if there was a waitlist option when we switched to altru (thinking it was guaranteed). So this is a huge loss for us. Please build out this option.
Hello! We are selling out many programs lately, and I'd like to have an automated waitlist procedure. When can we expect this feature to be widely available in Altru?
This is a severe need. We have very in -demand programs, with limited registration, so programs fill up quickly. This would save countless administrative hours and allow us to access everyone who would like to register in the case that there are cancellations. This would intern create more revenue opportunity, and the ability to positively serve the community. Please build this soon.
Any idea how much longer until this is feature is available?
I see that this Idea is Planned. How soon could we expect this feature to be implemented?
Currently, our institution uses form.io for waitlists, and it becomes difficult when we have such a a variety of programs and they are all jumbled into one form. It would be great to see the waitlist registrants live all in one place!

I fully agree with this need. I create public programming for our museum and some events are immensely popular, and we'd like to be able to give waitlisted registrants and early shot at registering for future events in addition to calling them when cancellations occur.
This would be nice as an additional feature to activate when creating weblinks, just as you would activate an acknowledgment email.
Seemingly less sophisticated software packages have the ability to create automatic waitlists for events. I am not sure why Altru does not have this capability. To be able to set up automatic waitlists for popular programs would be such a benefit to so many organizations and a wonderful selling point for your software.
