My organization has events throughout the year, the main one being a music festival with ~250 volunteers and ~600 individual shifts (occurrences). With that and our other events, we can easily top 1,100 - 1,200 occurrences every year.



Entering all those shifts manually (every year!) seems like an incredible waste of manpower, especially for keyboard-challenged individuals like myself ;-).



If we can front-end import tens of thousands of constituents with a gajillion characteristics, how 'bout being able to import a couple thousand jobs and occurrences with less than a dozen fields?
