Distinguish Between Patrons that Attended and Didn't Attend on Constituent Record

I noticed that when I go to a constituent and when viewing the "recent and upcoming activities" on the summary page, that it says "event registration" for everyone who who registered and attended or registered and didn't attend. Is there a better display on the summary page to show the actual status so one doesn't have to use the link to go to the event? When looking at the summary page, it's helpful to not have to click to another window.

I discovered just today that this distinction is not made on the constituent record and I'm so disappointed! We occasionally register an entire invitation list for an event, but only a small fraction of that number will actually attend. We need to be able to access this info more easily!
