Record Daily Attendance for a Previous Date

This past Sunday, we had two clerks call out sick and no one else from our small Visitor Services staff available to come in on a holiday weekend to handle admissions. We made the decision to waive admission charges that day, and we manually counted the number of visitors who entered so we could track daily admission.

Now, however, I find out that Altru cannot record daily admissions for a prior date. Daily attendance in Altru is apparently recorded on the TRANSACTION date (for both previous attendance AND advance sales!), not the actual date of attendance.

I see from the Knowledgebase that this issue was acknowledged a year ago, but apparently nothing has yet been done to fix this.

Needing to record advance sales or previous sales on the actual attendance date can't be an uncommon situation. When is this functionality going to be offered?

This would be useful for us. We record drop-in visitors to our welcome center as Daily Admissions at the end of the day. Since it has to happen last thing, it sometimes gets forgotten and then we cannot record the number.

I would like to see this functionality as well. This is common and it would be extremely helpful to be able to record daily attendance for a prior date.

Please develop an solution for this issues. It is obviously not uncommon and a lot of us rely on accurate attendance numbers

It would be helpful for us as well because, we also had to do a manually tally for admissions recently.  We collected the zip codes which we need for reporting and would like to enter them in retroactively.  We need a way to add visitors and at least their zip codes to past date.  Thanks!

Yes Please! Has anyone figured out a work around for this other than adding numbers to the current date?

I thoroughly agree. Its not an uncommon issue and very frustrating when we cannot record attendance for the day it happened.

Another year later and still having this issue... we were unable to use our computers over the holidays, so now I have sign-in sheets filled with pertinent information, but no way to record the attendance properly.
