When constituents create duplicate records (because Altru hasn't fixed the cart system to prevent this and the duplicate constituent issue is 16 years old now), they often take advantage of membership autorenewal. When we go to merge duplicates, the autorenewal is lost since the duplicate held the autonewal tokenized payment. We're left with choosing to merge the old record into the new, or contacting the member to setup autorenewal again. Neither option is ideal. We need to merge ALL data from either direction (new to old, old to new).
