Recurring / sustaining membership webform (or auto-renew option, at a minimum)

To streamline the renewals process and reduce the overhead of staff, we need a way to allow users to have a opt into a recurring membership model or have an auto-renewal process that facilitates a monthly membership.

    Has this really shipped?  We created a sustainable membership program, but have been told today that webforms are not available for sustainable memebrship programs.  If the latter is true, this idea has not been shipped.  It is not available.

    Trying to recruit a younger member base means having alternative ways to give. Sustaining memberships are going to be vital in keeping nonprofits from stagnating.

    The lack of this feature costs our members valuable time, and the Museum revenue.  Please make the addition of this feature a top priority.

    Auto  renewal is a nice feature to offer our members and save time and supply to the Museum.  It encourages members to select the level they need and conveniently make their payments without having to deal with writing check, process an envelope, getting an stamp and mailing it.  This feature should be  included in the package rather than an added option.

    Hello Altru. I AM the database keeper and membership assistant. Yes, absolutely the recurring membership option should be made available immediately. I truly find it hard to believe that Blackbaud does not have this option in place now, as well as a solution to be compliant with the complications that will come with standard data security affiliated with universities. As stated above, "Millennials love to set-and-forget monthly payments". Currently we don't  have the capability to even offer that 21st century option. This feature is critical for us to sustain memberships, provide convenience to our members and save AMST time and money.This is what we believe Altru to be about!! Please help expedite this Recurring Membership Form and please respond with any information that might help us streamline our process.

    When we moved to ALTRU at the Art Museum of South Texas, we were told that this feature would be coming soon.  Now that we are well into another year and still waiting, we'd like to respectfully request that it be given a much higher priority.  Our Trustees and members are frustrated that a feature we told them would be available is still not an option.  It is also frustrating and more time consuming for staff to deal with each membership year after year, knowing that many members would elect recurring memberships.  Other non-profits in our community are able to offer this feature to their members with other software programs.  Why not ALTRU?

    Please make this available!!! This is the only way our instititution can have automatic renewals.

    Providing our members with the option of automatic recurring payments is an essential need for us.  We hear over and over the demand for monthly electronic payments plans.  Our staff, Board and membership ask for this to be a top priority item for Altru development.

    This feature is absolutely crucial for the AMST. Recapturing renewals each year is work that should be supported by Altru, not an added task for our staff.

    Recurring memberships are one of the top three reasons AMST converted to Altru.  Our Board of Trustees, community, and membership are requesting this daily.  As a result of increased standards in data security at our affiliated university, we are unable to take advantage of the back-end workaround.  At a Board of Trustee meeting yesterday, the Board was appalled that we do not have the ability to offer this service to our members.  It is viewed as lost revenue.   The availability of sustainable, recurring, auto-renewable memberships, and donations will be a determining factor as to whether AMST will renew its contract when it comes due. Please make this feature a priority and available as soon as possible.
