Remove the restriction on With required purchase discounts that limits the discount to tickets in the same event or program.

I am setting up a discount "With Required Purchase." If they purchase a program at one of three price levels (overnight in a caboose or the bunkhouse) they get a discount on another specific program (train rides). The required purchase and the discounted items are in a different program, so I can't get the setup to work.



Trying to do my homework, I looked at the documentation and found the following:



"Limit discount to"



Configure limitations that further define the required purchase discount.


If you require tickets to be purchased in order to receive a discount on other tickets, you can limit the discount to the same event as the purchased event or the same program as the purchased event.


If you require merchandise to be purchased in order to receive a discount on other merchandise, you can limit the discount to the same item or an item from the same department as the purchased merchandise. You can also select no restriction.



Note the last sentence. I can't get that to work. I need no restriction here, since the discount applies to neither the same event nor the same program.

    We have a similar issue - we have theatre tickets and museum tickets. The theatre has a limited capacity - so folks have to buy tickets in advance - but we'd love to be able to provide a discount when folks purchase both. However, the tickets are in different programs (different price types, different timing, different discounts, etc.), so while it would be perfect if folks could get a discount by simply having both in their carts that's not currently an option.

    We tried out a combo ticket in the theatre program this summer but it caused a number of logistical issues for our welcome desk team, so we're scrapping it for the next show in the fall.
