Price Adjustment on the fly for Merch
Is there any way to manually adjust the price of merchandise while you are processing the transaction on the daily sales screen?
We sometimes will offer a unique discount to an item if it has a defect and there is seemingly no way to do this in daily sales, is that correct?
Also, we would like to offer our Employees our branded merchandise at cost. In our old system we would just discount the line item from the transaction page manually. It seems this will be a problem with Altru.
On the fly price adjustment is a major necessity in retailing and I find it hard to believe there is no way to do this beyond discount buttons.
Is programming a discount button the only solution for price adjustments and discounts?

I'm with you! We consider this an absolute need. I would like to see it come around soon. If we had known about this issue, I don't know that our gift shop manager would have been on board for switching to Altru. We are actually having to change the way we do an entire art festival because of this issue.
