We recently transition from Raiser's Edge to Altru. RE had this very convenient feature, where actions had an "auto-remind" option that would notify select users in RE and/or by Outlook appointment. You could even set how many days/weeks/months you want the reminder to appear before the action date.
This was extremely helpful when juggling many different prospects, and is very sorely missed in the Altru Prospect module (and interactions in general). Without the reminders, my staff must manually merge the Pending Activity on the My Fundraiser Page with existing scheduling tools, like the Outlook Calendar.
YES, right now Altru is very focused on the putting-in of information and is not good at what databases are supposed to facilitate, which is getting information back OUT. There should be a calendar that shows upcoming Prospect Plan steps AND upcoming interactions.
