Help Online Memberships Process Correctly

When members renew their membership online and they match up everything perfectly, the process works beautifully. However, if they enter N. instead of North, etc., it enters the membership as a new one. There should be a way for the addresses to autocorrect to a standard address format.


In addition, when we enter memberships back office, we have the default be one card per membership, with both names on the same card. When the memberships are purchased online, it automatically makes two cards -- one for each member. Online purchases should use the default already chosen.


There is also no way to make the members be in the same household if they purchase online, so for new members or the renewals that don't match up, it will make one account for each member on the membership.


Because of these factors, I spend a lot of time changing name formats, putting spouses in the same household and merging their old/new records. It actually takes me longer to edit the online purchases than it does to enter them back office!
